Nursing Home narrative

I passed by a woman rolling in a wheelchair as I walked towards the dining room in Royal Oaks Nursing and Rehab Center. The dining room was full of residents chatting and awaiting the upcoming bingo game. The volunteer running the game suggested that I assist an elderly man with glasses sitting in the back corner. The man had an unhappy look on his face, but when I sat down he gave me a half smile. He told me his name was Bernard.
Bernard motioned to a woman sitting in the center of the room and told me that she would win three times. Sure enough, the woman did win three times. Bernard frowned as I pushed his wheelchair back to his room. I asked him if he enjoyed bingo. He said he did not because he did not win. I smiled to himself thinking of how silly he was to be upset about bingo.
